Words aren't enough. Lisa has been a total game changer for my giant English Mastiff, Isaac. We first met Lisa when he was recovering from his first ACL tear when he was only two and already struggling to maintain comfort and mobility despite his size. He recovered from his surgery much more quickly, and with much less discomfort, than he would have without Lisa's work. It quickly became clear to me that her treatments not only addressed our immediate issues, but his overall health. As a result, we started seeing Lisa fairly regularly (because I wanted to, not because she pushed her services). When Isaac tore his other ACL at age 5, we knew just where to turn. Lisa treated him both before and after his surgery - and again the effect was clear. Now - at the age of 6.5 - Lisa is helping him age gracefully and is most certainly adding life to years and - I believe - years to his life. He is in regular physical therapy and his therapist always comments that it is obvious when Lisa has recently worked on him because he is so improved in terms of pain and mobility. My dad is a veterinarian - a fairly "old school" vet - who was initially skeptical the services Lisa provides - but after watching Lisa work and seeing the undeniable difference in Isaac he has joined the Dr. Lisa Fan Club and now recommends these treatments to his clients (who are, unfortunately, not in Denver). Finally - and importantly - she is wonderful with Isaac. He is always thrilled to see her, and she immediately puts him at ease (he regularly naps during his treatments). I just can't say enough good things about Lisa as a person and a veterinarian. It really takes a team to keep Isaac healthy and happy - and she is our MVP.

After an apparent back injury, I took my dog to the vet. Despite a thorough examination, they could not pinpoint the problem and he was sent home with pain killers. That same day and by total coincidence, I read an online review from a woman who’s dog experienced the same thing. She recommended Dr. Lisa Lancaster. After visiting her website I was automatically impressed and scheduled an in-home visit. Not only was she extremely professional and knowledgeable, but also kind. My dog is challenging, and she was understanding and patient. I look forward to a long relationship with her. Her laser and acupuncture services brought immediate relief to my dog and spared him the severe anxiety he gets going to the vet. I've already recommended her to all my family and friends! Forever grateful, Kat & Iggy Vigil

Lisa took amazing care of our dog with a difficult to determine ailment (erratic pain with no obvious source), she was our fourth vet and she was the first vet to really take the time and energy to find out why our dog was in pain. She was kind to both our dog and us as we dealt with the difficult situation. Lisa didn't just prescribe pills, she took the time to take a holistic approach and educated us on all the benefits. We can't say enough nice things about our experience and she still checks up on our dog.

We have had three of our dogs treated with acupuncture by three different vets. We have found that acupuncture can have a terrific impact on mobility in older dogs, but success can depend on the "patient-doctor" relationship. Lisa Lancaster is the absolute best. She is gentle, kind and compassionate, with both the dog and their concerned people. By the second visit, even our rather timid, worrier of an older dog was asking for her attentions. The combination of acupuncture, chiropractic adjustments and laser treatment is keeping our 13 year old moving easily and happily. We highly recommend her.

Lisa is wonderful! Basil, my 8yr old Newfoundland Border Collie, just had his first session with Lisa and I can already see a difference in the way he feels. His hips bother him less and his demeanor is carefree. Lisa is very intuitive, loving and trustworthy. Her services are very complimentary with what we do with our Vet. I am looking forward to continuing Lisa’s treatment and seeing the progress Basil will continue to make.

Dr. Lisa has been treating my dogs for nearly two years. We have seen incredible results for both of our samoyed/border collie chow mixes who suffer from congenital hip dysplasia. It has been a positive experience having a veterinary acupuncturist of Dr. Lisa's skill and bedside manner work with our dogs in our own home. Highly recommended!

FIVE-STAR UPDATE one year later: Veterinary acupuncturist Lisa Lancaster treated my collie for more than a year. She will leave no stone unturned to enhance the quality and increase the length of your pet’s life. Knowledgeable, caring, extremely sensitive to the needs of YOUR pet, Dr. Lancaster is simply the best there is. Original review follows: Veterinary acupuncturist Dr. Lisa Lancaster is one of the best things that can happen to you and your pet. My vet recommended her, and in short order she has changed our lives for the better. My 10-year-old collie has severe arthritis, which pain medication and Adequan injections have been able to relieve only partially. Something else was necessary, and Dr. Lisa is it. I saw improvement after the first session, with continuing improvement each time. My dog has an easier time standing up and negotiating stairs; he walks at a nice pace and is willing to go farther; he follows me around the house instead of lying down in one spot most of the day. His face has a relaxed ease about it which tells me he feels comfortable. He is eating well and looks younger! He now does the “down dog” I haven’t seen in at least two years! Dr. Lisa will meet both your needs and those of your pet. She will set up a schedule which fits your time frame and budget. She will listen closely and evaluate the benefits of treatment. She will give you caring, competent, and thoughtful advice which will help you be an active participant in making decisions. I only wish she treated human patients.

Lisa is THE most incredible vet. Over eight years ago, my 1.5 year-old lab's hip popped out of his socket while playing at the park. My regular vet at the time told me he had serious hip dysplasia, and I was told he would need to have hip surgery when he was older. That was the day I went online and found Lisa. She has been treating my lab ever since. He is now ten, has not needed surgery, and can run and play without any pain, seemingly. His hip has never popped out again by the way. I know that if it were not for her ability, expertise, professionalism, conscientiousness, kindness, empathy, and love for my dog, he would not be the healthy dog he is today. People are always surprised when they hear his age because he looks and acts so much younger, too. He has acupuncture and chiropractic work when she treats him, and she has also helped me to give him the best possible care due to the food, supplements, and nail-trimming tips she has recommended. She asks detailed questions and records notes each time, and she follows-up to ask how something is going after our appointment. Lisa also operates with integrity. It is obvious that Lisa loves her work and her canine clients. As long as I am living in Denver, I will continue to see Lisa for my dogs' holistic health needs. She is truly the best, and your dog will be in the best hands ever.... I recommend Lisa wholeheartedly without any reservations to anyone who is lucky enough to work with her!

Dr. Lisa Lancaster is unmatched in care, knowledge, and skill. She has provided comprehensive therapy to my 17 year old dog, Winky for spinal changes and hind end weakness that has made a tremendous difference in Winky's mobility, pain level, and comfort. Dr. Lancaster is incredibly intelligent and thoughtful. We are so fortunate to have her on our team. Dr. Lancaster's acupuncture and pressure point work with Winky has made such a difference. Winky is stronger and less prone to accidents because of Dr. Lancaster's thorough intuitive treatments. Dr. Lancaster has also offered educated input to Winky's medication and supplement regimen that I value tremendously. Dogs whose owners value top tier care would be very fortunate to have Dr. Lisa Lancaster on their team! ~ Camille Roth and Winky

Teddy is our friend and four year old, 8 lb Yorkie. He had a nasty fall jumping off the couch as someone was standing up off the floor and they collided. He refused to walk for about three months. Our vet took x-rays and was headed down the path of surgery on his knees and or hips. A neighbor recommended Dr. Lisa Lancaster. After one home visit of chiropractic adjustment and acupuncture, Teddy was 80% better and walking. After a few more sessions of the same - he is fine - walking, jumping, running, just as before. In the 10 months since the first treatment, Teddy has had one more bout of reluctance to walk. Lisa opened her schedule to see him the next day. Again, he is back to 100%. We are SOOOO grateful for Lisa's help, talent and compassion. I'm not sure where Teddy would be without her! Thank you Lisa!! We can't recommend her highly enough - for all aspects of the treatment and care she has given.
